FARGO, North Dakota — The North Dakota Corn Growers Association (NDCGA) is currently seeking candidates to fill an opening on its board of directors for District 6.
Board members represent the districts in which they live by influencing policy that affects North Dakota corn producers. District 6 consists of Dickey and LaMoure counties. The 4-year term will begin July 1, 2021, and up to two consecutive 4-year terms may be served.
The volunteer representative will replace outgoing board member Bart Schott of Kulm whose final term will expire on June 30, 2021. Schott has also served as President of the National Corn Growers Association. “Bart’s leadership will be greatly missed, but we look forward to welcoming another grower leader to help advance corn in our state,” said NDCGA President Rob Hanson.
Any corn growers who are interested in this position, please reach out to the North Dakota Corn Growers office at info.ndcorn.org or 701.566.9322.
