Face-to-Face Time with National Commodity Leaders
North Dakota’s farmers wield influence well beyond the state’s geographical borders. While they may not be front of mind, North Dakota corn and soybean farmers have a network or resources working on their behalf in the state, nationally and overseas. Checkoff funds support statewide and global efforts to increase demand, to sustain production research, to connect with consumers and to grow new markets for the state’s corn and soybeans.
Several of those farmer-supported resources will be highlighted during a Hot Topic panel at the 2020 Northern Corn and Soybean Expo. The panel will be moderated by Michelle Rook of AgWeek TV. Panelists will include Mace Thornton, vice president of communications and marketing strategy for the United Soybean Board (USB); Jon Doggett, CEO of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA); and Ryan Findlay, CEO of the American Soybean Association (ASA). The panel will take place from 11:00am – 11:45am on the Main Stage. You will have a chance to ask questions during the panel, and continue your conversations with these influential panelists in the speaker pavilion on the trade show floor following the panel.
Breakout Sessions: Tailor Your Expo Experience
Breakout sessions at the Northern Corn and Soybean Expo will help North Dakota farmers better understand issues which they may face on their farms. The topics have been carefully selected to provide farmers with relevant and timely information about key issues they are currently facing and will help attendees understand some of the current challenges in the agriculture industry. Choose from a variety of sessions and learn about topics ranging from biofuels, to weed management, to managing your risk in 2020.
Additionally, all breakout sessions qualify for CEUs! Continuing education is a great way to stay at the top of your field and keep your certification current. See the full selection of breakout topics to tailor your Expo experience and to meet your specific needs!
