Fargo, North Dakota – The North Dakota Corn Growers Association (NDCGA) announces the appointment of two new directors to the organization with terms effective July 1, 2016.

Tim Kozojed and Kyle Speich were elected to represent District 2 and District 5, respectively. Kozojed replaces James Aarsvold, Blanchard, ND, whose term ended June 30, 2016. Directors can serve two consecutive four-year terms.

Kozojed farms near Hillsboro, ND with his father, Mike, sister, Teresa and brother-in-law, Ben. They grow soybeans and corn on just over 5,000 acres. Tim and Ben also own Bloomfield Enterprises, selling equipment like trailers, conveyers, fertilizer and seed tenders. Tim and his wife Mia have four children.

Speich farms with his brother, Tyler and father, Bruce near Milnor, ND. They raise corn, soybeans, sunflowers, alfalfa and wheat on 3,000 acres. The Speichs also manage a cow/calf operation and sell Pioneer seed.

The North Dakota Corn Growers Association (NDCGA) is the farmer-led organization focusing on policy that impacts North Dakota corn producers. The NDCGA consists of 14 growers from 7 districts along with 4 at-large directors. The NDCUC and NDCGA work together to grow a healthy, profitable business climate for northern corn.
